The laboratory contains:

  • digital reproductions (on cd) of manuscripts and printed editions of Aeschylus texts from the Renaissance to nowadays. 

  • a video archive of the modern performances

Video

The Lab contains a video archive of modern performances of ancient drama. The main part of our video archive collects the performances of the last thirty years promoted by INDA (National Institute of Ancient Drama), which is  located in Syracuse. To consult the material please send a request to dionysos.lett [at] unitn.it

Digital archive (manuscripts and printed editions)

A digital archive on CD-roms of manuscripts and printed editions of Aeschylus text from the Renaissance to nowadays is available. The archive has been set up thanks to the participation of Unitn to projects PRIN and Marie Curie (European project: “A new Aeschylus edition”). A digital copy of an renaissance commentary to Aeschylus by the Greek humanist Franciscus Portus is also available in this archive.
